“More than words is all you’d have to do to make it real”
“Then you wouldn’t have to say I love you, because I’d already know”.
“What would you say if I took those words away,
Then you couldn’t make everything new, just by saying I love you.
More than words….
More than words says “I love you” in a way that mere speak never can. It’s our actions that say I love you. Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments”. We can sing, we can praise, we can say I love you Jesus. But when we keep His commandments, we have shown our love in a way that nothing else will. When we yield to the Holy Spirit in obedience, and humility, we have loved God in truth. Our actions leave a footprint, where are words merely cast a shadow.
There is no replacement for an act of our will. Nothing speaks louder than our deeds.
